TL;DR

SEO Strategist (B2B SaaS): Creating and managing custom client strategies for SEO and content with an accent on LTV:CAC modeling, Customer Generation, Share of SERP, and content production. Focus on crafting creative briefs, goal setting, project management, client communication, and performance reporting using Google Analytics, SEMRush, and Ahrefs.

Remote in Canada (Calgary, Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, Vancouver). Must have established work authorization and permanently reside in Canada.

What you will do

  • Develop holistic SEO and content strategies for enterprise clients, informed by best practices and competitor insights.
  • Set and approve client goals using data from Google Analytics, CRM, SEMRush, and Ahrefs.
  • Manage projects in Asana, delegate tasks to specialists, writers, designers, and clients to ensure timely delivery.
  • Communicate proactively with clients via Slack and bi-weekly meetings on timelines, progress, and deliverables.
  • Report on progress through bi-weekly updates, monthly/quarterly reports, and bi-annual business reviews.
  • Identify upsell opportunities, cross-sells, and referrals to grow client accounts.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in SEO principles: keyword research, on-page optimization, link building.
  • Analytical skills to interpret website traffic and SEO metrics with Google Analytics, Google Search Console.
  • Strong client-facing communication and relationship management skills.
  • Familiarity with SEMRush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and crawling tools.
  • Excellent organizational, project, and time management skills.
  • Agency experience and B2B tech/SaaS experience required.
  • Enthusiasm for digital marketing, SEO, content, and staying ahead of AI/automation trends.
