What you will do

• Take full ownership of battery test delivery, ensuring thorough preparation of facilities and components.
• Provide technical expertise in the setup, execution, and interpretation of battery test data to inform engineering decisions.
• Plan, coordinate, and oversee activities of small project teams to ensure testing objectives are met.
• Support the review of test requests, assessing feasibility and safety compliance (EUCAR Hazard Level 4).
• Champion process documentation and report team KPIs to senior management.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in requirements capture, data acquisition, and programming of automated tests.
• Proven ability to supervise, mentor, and train engineering teams, technicians, and apprentices.
• Sound knowledge of Lithium-ion battery technology and working in high-voltage environments.
• Strong understanding of Health and Safety regulations, including Risk Assessments, COSHH, and SDS.
• Valid eligibility to work and travel within the UK.
• Degree education is desirable.
