Cloud Engineer

TL;DR

Cloud Engineer (AWS/Azure): Building and supporting self-service application hosting platform for containerized apps with an accent on secure deployment, multi-cloud infrastructure, and high availability. Focus on transitioning from AWS to Azure, automating CI/CD workflows, and applying security best practices in cloud-native environments.

Location: Poland · Fully Remote. Comfortable working in distributed teams across time zones (Europe–US overlap required).

What you will do

• Build and support infrastructure for containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
• Collaborate on transitioning infrastructure from AWS to Azure.
• Maintain high availability of hosted applications to avoid downtime impacting clients.
• Improve and automate CI/CD workflows with GitHub Actions, CircleCI, or similar.
• Automate repetitive tasks and manage infrastructure as code with Terraform.
• Apply cloud security best practices including encryption.
• Support deployments across development, staging, and production environments.

Requirements

• 5+ years of cloud engineering experience
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm
• Hands-on with Azure and AWS
• Scripting in Node.js/JavaScript and/or Python
• Understanding of security, logging, monitoring, performance in cloud-native architectures
• CI/CD tools: GitHub Actions, CircleCI, Jenkins
• Experience in distributed Agile teams across Europe–US time zones
• English: upper-intermediate

Nice to have

• GCP exposure
• Terraform / IaC experience
• AWS or Azure certification
• Experience with multi-tenant, large-scale hosting platforms
