TL;DR

Experienced Cloud Engineer/DevOps (AWS): Expanding and managing public REST APIs for hirify.global cloud products and implementing microservices for syslog export with an accent on strengthening integrations with other third parties. Focus on actively developing and managing REST APIs, implementing new microservices, and establishing effective integrations with other external solutions.

Location: Hybrid work in Krakow, Poland with up to 12 days of Home Office monthly. The team is distributed between Poland, Czechia and Slovakia.

What you will do

• Design cloud enterprise infrastructure.
• Actively monitor and maintain Kubernetes.
• Optimize performance and cost of cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate on security audits.
• Review junior team members’ infrastructure decisions.

Requirements

• Knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Azure).
• Experience in designing cloud enterprise infrastructure (e.g. 100 million events per day).
• Active monitoring and maintenance of Kubernetes.
• Performance and cost optimization of cloud infrastructure.
• At least 5 years of experience with Docker, Kubernetes (EKS), and Terraform.
• English language – upper‑intermediate level (B2), including understanding technical documentation

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Helm, kubectl, Azure CLI, FreeLens.
• Awareness of API Gateways (Nginx).
• Awareness of service mesh technologies (Kuma service mesh).
• Knowledge of data formats: JSON, YAML, Protobuf.
• Basic knowledge of scripting languages (Bash, Python, …).
