About the Role
You will sit within the team that manages backing assets and originate overcollateralised stablecoin loans backed by tier one digital assets and real-world assets. You will build and manage secured lending relationships, negotiate and close complex lending agreements, design secured loan structures with partners, evaluate collateral frameworks and portfolio exposures, and communicate credit views and progress to risk and investment stakeholders.
Requirements
- Experience in credit risk, counterparty risk, or financial markets risk analysis
- Background in secured lending in digital assets, issuing or originating loans with market makers, prime brokerage, securities financing, or leveraged institutional clients
- Strong understanding of the secured lending market in the digital asset space at institutional, CeFi, and DeFi levels
- Proven ability to negotiate lending agreement terms and close complex deals rapidly
- Strong financial and quantitative analytical skills to evaluate collateral frameworks and portfolio exposures
- Comfort working in a high-trust, flat hierarchy that values asynchronous communication and independent creativity
Responsibilities
- Originate loans with new counterparties to scale the loan book
- Own and manage secured lending relationships and act as a trusted advisor to institutional counterparties
- Drive growth of the secured lending allocation for backing assets
- Design secured loan structures with exchanges, custodians, brokerages, and trading firms that fit the protocol risk profile
- Negotiate and close complex lending agreements
