What you will do

• Design, integrate, test, and configure Factory Automation AMHS controls software systems.
• Generate and analyze equipment performance KPIs to drive operational improvements.
• Lead continuous improvement efforts for automation system health and emerging capabilities.
• Serve as a technical expert for AMHS controls systems across cross-functional and cross-site teams.
• Develop software scripts, dashboards, and monitoring tools for system enhancements.
• Support a 24/7 high-availability automation environment through rotational on-call assignments.

Requirements

• PhD in ME, EE, CE, or CS; or Master's degree with 1+ years of experience; or Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience.
• Proficiency in high-level programming languages such as C, C++, or Python.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, including unit testing and integration.
• Hands-on experience with software debugging and problem-solving in complex systems.
• Must be based in or able to work on-site in Phoenix, AZ or Hillsboro, OR.

Nice to have

• Experience with semiconductor High Volume Manufacturing (HVM) processes.
• Specific experience with AMHS Material Controls Systems (MCS).
• Proficiency in Linux, Unix, and Perl or Python for data extraction and analysis.
• Knowledge of AMHS hardware and control systems.
• Familiarity with DFM, DOE, and FMEA.
