What you will do

• Architect and implement distributed backend services for key generation, storage, and lifecycle management.
• Develop high-assurance signing protocols and flows utilizing MPC or external signing devices.
• Build secure backup and disaster recovery mechanisms for cryptographic material.
• Harden systems against adversarial conditions and real-world attack vectors.
• Optimize performance-critical components executing complex cryptographic operations.
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams and security researchers to ship production-grade signing systems.

Requirements

• 5+ years of strong C++ experience in production systems and 3+ years in another high-level language.
• Experience building large-scale backend or distributed systems, preferably in SaaS.
• Proven ability to integrate AI tools into workflows and apply critical judgment to AI-generated output in security-sensitive contexts.
• Proficiency with SQL databases and cloud technologies including Docker, K8S, AWS, or Azure.
• Deep understanding of concurrency, memory management, system design, and performance optimization.
• Strong security engineering mindset and capability to engage with novel research.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with the blockchain ecosystem.
• Experience integrating with HSMs or Trusted Execution Environments (confidential computing).
• Background in Kernel development or cybersecurity.
• Experience with product components hosted on-premise.
