Senior Software Engineer, Backend - Platform (Web3): Building and scaling real-time invariant enforcement for ’s fund flows with an accent on distributed systems and correctness models. Location: Remote-first, but in-person participation and attendance at company-wide offsites throughout the year are required. Must be eligible to work in the US (E-Verify).
Salary: $186,065 — $218,900 USD

What you will do
- Build and scale real-time invariant enforcement across the company's fund flows.
- Develop core platform components, including the detection engine, invariant framework, and partner onboarding tools.
- Own end-to-end workstreams from correctness model design to production operations.
- Implement AI guardrails and predictive consistency models to identify deviations at initiation.
- Mentor junior engineers and lead technical execution for high-impact projects.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience developing large-scale distributed systems.
- Proven track record of building platform-level infrastructure used by multiple internal teams.
- Strong commitment to system correctness and end-to-end ownership of problems.
- Ability to responsibly utilize generative AI tools (e.g., Gemini, Glean) to improve efficiency and quality.
- Must be eligible for US-based employment (E-Verify).
Nice to have
- Experience with financial, payments, or reconciliation systems.
- Knowledge of streaming data infrastructure like Kafka, Flink, or Spark.
- Proficiency with Golang, Ruby, Docker, Postgres, MongoDB, or DynamoDB.
- Crypto-forward experience, including familiarity with Ethereum, ENS, and dApps.
- Experience working in a company that transitioned rapidly from startup to mid-size.
