What you will do

• Lead the design and implementation of core Libraries Platform components, including services, pipelines, and package indexes for Java, JavaScript, and Python/AI/ML.
• Design and maintain automation for artifact creation, vulnerability scanning, SBOM generation, and policy enforcement.
• Build and operate shared platform services such as registry mirrors, metadata services, and orchestration tooling.
• Develop internal developer tools and CLIs in Go to improve build and ship processes at scale.
• Drive reliability, scalability, and observability by defining SLOs and leading incident response.
• Partner with ecosystem, platform, and security teams to ensure the platform meets all product requirements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience designing and operating infrastructure for language ecosystems or developer platforms.
• Strong proficiency in Go (Golang).
• Strong background in cloud-native infrastructure: Docker/OCI, Kubernetes, and public clouds (GCP, AWS, Azure).
• Experience with IaC and CI/CD tools such as Terraform, GitHub Actions, Argo, or Tekton.
• Ability to debug complex toolchain, compiler, and packaging failures in production environments.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• Open source contributions to ecosystem tooling, libraries, or packaging infrastructure.
• Experience with software supply chain security: SLSA, SBOMs, sigstore, or attestations.
• Knowledge of Linux distributions and reproducible build systems like Bazel, CMake, or Ninja.
• Familiarity with AI/ML packaging and deploying native Python libraries/frameworks in Kubernetes.
