Technical Enablement Engineer (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end development and operations of the hands-on lab ecosystem for all hirify.global products.
• Design scalable, repeatable multi-tenant lab topologies that mirror real-world enterprise identity environments.
• Lead the technical implementation of lab delivery platforms like Skillable, including automation and template design.
• Collaborate with SMEs to create scenario-based labs for hardening, detection, incident response, and forest recovery.
• Build automated checks and success criteria to objectively assess skills for technical certifications.
• Coordinate internal technical enablement sessions and develop gamified learning solutions to increase participation.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in enterprise IT focusing on Active Directory, Entra ID / Azure AD, and hybrid identity security.
• 5+ years of experience designing or operating hands-on lab/sandbox environments for training or certifications.
• Strong engineering experience with Windows Server, networking, virtualization, and Azure.
• Proficiency in writing and maintaining scripts using PowerShell, Python, and Bash.
• Must be based within 45 miles of Austin, TX to support the hybrid work model.
• Excellent communication and technical documentation skills.

Nice to have

• Direct experience with Skillable or similar virtual lab platforms.
• Experience integrating labs with LMS platforms (e.g., MindTickle) or partner portals.
• Background in cybersecurity, identity security, or infrastructure protection.
• Experience architecting technical certification programs and performance-based testing.
• Relevant Microsoft identity/security or Azure Architect certifications.
