What you will do

• Investigate driving behavior issues from logs and determine root causes.
• Formulate deficiencies into learning objectives and develop evaluation metrics for planner ML models.
• Improve performance of state-of-the-art ML models in the planner.
• Develop foundational frameworks to advance hirify.global Driver capabilities.
• Expand ML model impact while maintaining interpretability and behavioral guarantees.
• Contribute to solving challenging long-tail driving situations.

Requirements

• Masters or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning or similar discipline.
• Proficiency in C++ or Python.
• Experience with Machine Learning models in production systems.

Nice to have

• AV or Robotics experience.
• 4+ years of Software Engineering experience in complex systems.
