What you will do

• Oversee and lead character-specific animations such as dances and emotes in Maya and Unreal using ART tools.
• Guide emotes from initial concept through animation and final implementation in Unreal Engine.
• Collaborate across art disciplines at Epic and with vendor teams.
• Lead the library of cosmetic animations and emotes, shaping Fortnite’s animation style and feel.

Requirements

• Animation reel showing key-framed character and creature animations.
• Strong experience with Maya and gameplay systems such as Unreal Engine.
• Good instincts for realistic and stylized motions.
• Strong communication and leadership skills with experience shipping at least one title.
• Related skills such as modeling, skinning, rigging.
• Experience working with mocap data.
