Senior Rust Engineer

TL;DR

What you will do

• Build new products within the company using Rust.
• Develop new code in Rust and maintain existing Go/Ruby codebase.
• Create proofs-of-concept in new areas and drive them to production or iterate as needed.

Requirements

• Spoken English sufficient for technical interviews and collaboration with colleagues
• Strong experience writing, shipping, and maintaining Rust code (2+ years), plus other languages (Ruby, Python, Go, JS, Java, etc.)
• Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, multiprocessing, and memory management
• Experience with high-performance asynchronous Rust applications (preferably Tokio)
• Understanding of network protocols and stacks
• Understanding of databases (classic SQL and NoSQL)
• Basic DevOps practices and Linux environment
• Readiness to work remotely with global distributed teams across timezones
• Result-oriented problem solver, proactive with proposals, open to new tech and project switches

Nice to have

• Golang/Ruby knowledge
• Experience with WASM
• Open source contributions
