Service Technician (m/f/d)

TL;DR

Service Technician (m/f/d): Perform maintenance, inspections, and repairs on wind turbines with an accent on defect analysis, safety compliance, and inventory management. Focus on autonomous troubleshooting, faultfinding, and coordinating service processes with subcontractors and coordinators.

Location: Ceva, Italy (onsite, willing to travel regularly including nights away from home, work at high altitudes and climb turbines daily)

What you will do

• Follow health and safety instructions and work safely for material and personnel.
• Analyze defects via phone with Service Coordinator and perform autonomous simple repairs, troubleshooting, and faultfinding.
• Carry out planned maintenance and inspection activities with subcontractors.
• Fill in reports and checklists to inform Local Operation Manager.
• Check spare parts inventory and manage material on site.
• Monitor service reports and steer processes to book expenses correctly.

Requirements

• Electrical and/or mechanical education.
• Experience with hydraulic, electrical, or mechanical systems valued but not mandatory.
• Teamwork, collaboration, and willingness to take responsibility.
• Willing to travel regularly, including nights away from home; able to work at high altitudes and climb turbines daily.
• Computer literate with MS Office, in-house database, and workload management systems.
• Readiness for training.
• Good English language skills (read, write, speak fluently).
