Grants Coordinator (Ukraine): Coordinate proposal development, grants management, and donor reporting for humanitarian programs across NRC Core Competencies including ICLA, Shelter/WASH, Education, Protection, and Cash response with an accent on donor compliance, quality control, and cross-team collaboration. Focus on organizing Go/No Go meetings, facilitating project reviews, drafting communications, and ensuring adherence to PCM processes and deadlines.

What you will do

  • Coordinate donor proposals, reports, modifications, and ensure donor compliance and quality control.
  • Organize proposal planning, Go/No Go meetings, and build relationships for high-quality proposal development using NRC tools.
  • Review grant agreements, facilitate Grant Opening Meetings, and summarize compliance requirements.
  • Coordinate project review meetings, monitor implementation, draft donor communications, and develop consistent donor reports.
  • Support grant close-outs, lessons learned, and maintenance of grants tracker and filing systems.
  • Provide help-desk on donor issues, deliver trainings, represent NRC, and promote IDP/returnee rights.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of relevant grants or similar experience in an NGO.
  • Experience with donor relations and grants coordination (e.g., State Department, ECHO, GFFO, KfW, NORAD, SIDA, OCHA).
  • Experience in complex environments with displaced populations; good understanding of donor rules.
  • Proven skills in proposal and report development; excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and oral English; ability to work under pressure, travel to area offices, and use MS Word/Excel.
  • Willingness to travel to area offices and work in difficult environments.
