TL;DR

LPN or RN (Medication Nurse): Administer methadone to patients for opioid addiction treatment with an accent on dosing accuracy, patient evaluation, and regulatory compliance. Location: Onsite in Coeur d'Alene, ID 83814, USA

Comp: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour w/ Bonus Structure + $3,000 hiring incentive

What you will do

  • Administer methadone as prescribed and assess patients for treatment appropriateness.
  • Observe patients post-administration, collect urine specimens, and monitor physicals/lab work.
  • Maintain accurate dosing records, medication inventories, and report discrepancies.
  • Coordinate dose packages, train new nurses, and implement quality health standards.
  • Participate in treatment team meetings, in-service trainings, and plan center improvements.

Requirements

  • Licensed as LPN/LVN or RN in the state of employment.
  • CPR and First Aid certified.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Accurate data entry skills and basic computing knowledge.
  • Knowledge of dosing equipment, centrifuge, physical assessment tools, test strips, breathalyzers, and medical equipment.
  • Ability to work independently under pressure, handle multiple tasks, and react quickly.

Nice to have

  • Experience in chemical addiction.
