What you will do

• Start as Editorial Trainee collaborating with Managing Editors to learn manuscript processing from submission to publication.
• Transition to Assistant Editor handling editorial workflows for journals in your expertise domain.
• Organize peer review processes, oversee editorial decisions, and manage communications among authors, reviewers, and stakeholders.
• Contribute to open access publishing by spreading high-quality scientific knowledge.

Requirements

• PhD in Food Science, Nutrition, Neurology Science, Biology Science, Human Medicine or Public Health
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Excellent English and Spanish skills (written and spoken)
• Ability to multitask and attention to detail
• Must work onsite in Barcelona office
