Senior Backend Engineer

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain clean, efficient, secure, and well-tested backend code for critical systems like payments and merchant management.
• Own features and projects end-to-end, from scoping and design to deployment and maintenance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on requirements, architecture, and technical insights.
• Build tools and integrate systems to improve operational efficiency and scalability.
• Contribute to CI/CD processes, code reviews, mentoring, and best practices.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and stay updated on fintech trends.

Requirements

• Fluent in English.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience in backend systems.
• Strong coding skills in Java, Kotlin, Golang, or .NET.
• Knowledge of OOP, data structures, algorithms, databases, system design, and microservices.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Agile/Scrum, and problem-solving in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Degree in computer science or related field.
• Experience in payments, fintech, or cloud infrastructure (AWS, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with frameworks like Laravel, Spring, or authorization systems (RBAC, ABAC).
