What you will do

• Develop portfolio strategy with editorial teams and society partners, aligning with organizational goals.
• Ensure steady flow of high-quality manuscripts by collaborating with editors, authors, boards, and reviewers.
• Negotiate and manage contracts with journal editors and societies; maintain portfolio amid market changes.
• Achieve objectives in content growth, market share, editorial speed, and stakeholder satisfaction.
• Build relationships with external stakeholders (editors, authors, societies, universities, industry) and internal teams.
• Identify market opportunities and develop new products/services in Materials Science.

Requirements

• Proactive, creative mindset with strong communication, networking, and commercial awareness.
• Experience in data gathering, analysis, and presentation.
• Understanding of scientific research ecosystem, particularly Materials Science.
• University degree (essential); minimum 3 years journal publishing or relevant industry experience (desirable).
• Fluent English (essential).
• Willingness to travel internationally.
