What you will do
- Lead complex ER cases including grievances, investigations, disciplinaries, performance concerns, and exits, ensuring compliance with local laws.
- Partner with HRBPs and leaders as a trusted advisor, coaching through sensitive situations and providing business-aligned recommendations.
- Build manager capabilities with training, resources, and self-service tools to enable proactive handling of people issues.
- Standardize ER approaches, refine frameworks, analyze trends, and integrate AI/automation for efficiency.
- Mitigate risks by partnering with Legal on assessments, documentation, and case tracking systems.
- Deliver training for HRBPs and managers to foster a culture of accountability and high performance.
Requirements
- 6+ years in Employee Relations, HRBP, or related role in a fast-paced global environment
- Strong track record managing complex, high-risk ER cases independently
- Experience across multiple jurisdictions (EMEA and/or US preferred)
- Commercial mindset balancing people risk with business impact
- Strong judgement, credibility, influence, resilience, bias for action, and detail orientation
- Understanding of employment law, investigation processes, and Legal partnerships
Nice to have
- Experience scaling ER in high-growth tech companies
- Background in both HRBP and ER specialist roles
- Building ER playbooks, training, or frameworks
- Interest in AI transforming ER delivery
- Designing case management systems or ER tooling
