What you will do

• Use statistical and machine learning techniques to identify trends and relationships in data.
• Harvest, wrangle, and prototype new internal and external data sources to create value.
• Provide detailed data science outputs and communicate with senior stakeholders.
• Develop knowledge of hirify.global's data resources and the wider credit industry.
• Support models through their lifecycle: conception, development, implementation, testing, monitoring, and documentation.

Requirements

• Degree (BSc or higher) in data science-related field (statistics, mathematics, machine learning)
• Strong experience with statistical modelling and machine learning techniques
• Proficiency in Python (pandas, numpy, scikit-learn)
• Solid SQL and data manipulation skills (cleaning, managing raw datasets)
• Experience with data visualisation and communicating insights
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Nice to have

• MSc or PhD in data science-related discipline
• Experience in regulated financial services environment
• Ability to present complex findings to varied audiences
• Experience supporting model deployment with implementation or DevOps teams
