What you will do
- Handle system and functional integration along with technical project management for battery systems.
- Prepare battery system requirements and specifications.
- Liaise with SW, inverter, and other teams on battery requirements.
- Define test and validation tasks, assess results (DVP activities).
- Support HV battery electrical design, mechanical design, modeling, simulation, controls, and functional safety.
- Assist battery element engineers in vehicle and powertrain projects, ensure development quality via requirements engineering and reviews.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Electronics / Control / Mechatronics / Mechanical or Automotive Engineering
- Knowledge of automotive and battery-related areas (preferred)
- Fluent speaking and excellent writing skills in English (German a plus)
- Willingness to frequent and long-term domestic and international travel
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams
- Understanding of lithium-ion batteries, battery systems, BMS, electrical components/sensors/actuators, safety standards, EVs, power electronics, safety analyses, automotive powertrain
