What you will do
- Lead a team of ~20 software engineers, ensuring competencies and resources for value creation teams to deliver complete product solutions on time.
- Act as a change leader promoting ownership, accountability, and engagement across the R&D organization.
- Drive continuous improvement of workflows to shorten lead times, stimulate innovation, and deliver high-quality software.
- Support development of complex medical devices through strong cross-functional cooperation in all development stages.
- Collaborate with other team managers on short- and long-term software strategies, process improvements, and synergies.
- Serve as Product Owner in one value creation team.
Requirements
- Fluency in Swedish and English
- M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Computer Science, Electronics, Physics, Mechatronics, or related field.
- Previous leadership experience in SW R&D, with proven track record of leading and developing teams.
- Strong experience with agile methodologies in product development and driving organizational change.
- Continuous improvement mindset focused on productivity and ways of working.
- Solid background in software development within R&D projects.
- Experience in MedTech or regulated sector (advantage).
