What you will do

• Lead planning and execution of in-vehicle functional, integration, and regression testing for production software.
• Validate ECU subsystems focusing on diagnostics, CAN/LIN protocols, and safety-critical error handling.
• Design and maintain automation frameworks for UI, API, and vehicle environments.
• Collaborate with powertrain, telematics, and connectivity teams to align test strategies with CI/CD.
• Perform root cause analysis using network traces, CAN captures, and logs to resolve defects.
• Validate OTA updates and cloud-to-vehicle communication pathways.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years Software QA experience, including 1–2 years in automotive sector.
• Hands-on with MQTT, CAN, and LIN protocols.
• Experience testing embedded software, mobile apps, and web platforms.
• Proficient with Git/GitHub, JIRA, and test management tools.
• Strong analysis of distributed systems and network traces.
• Excel in agile, startup-style environments.
• Willing to travel for networking, conferences, and business activities.
