Continuous Improvement Engineer

Continuous Improvement Engineer: Analyze manufacturing and production processes to identify inefficiencies and implement Lean and Six Sigma methodologies with an accent on holistic problem assessment, process documentation, and cross-functional collaboration. Focus on leading Kaizen events, 5S initiatives, training staff, and monitoring performance metrics for sustainable improvements.

Location: Alajuela, Costa Rica (onsite). This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship or relocation assistance.

What you will do

• Analyze manufacturing processes to identify improvement opportunities.
• Apply Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to address business challenges.
• Develop and maintain process documentation.
• Train and mentor staff on Lean tools and philosophy.
• Lead Kaizen events, 5S, and process mapping projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and report progress to management.

Requirements

• English proficiency required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years experience in Lean/Six Sigma tools, statistical analysis (Excel, Power BI, Tableau), leading improvement projects, and MS Office.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to train/mentor teams in dynamic environments.
