Landscape Architect

Salary: $34-50 per hour depending on experience

What you will do

• Lead land planning and landscape design efforts from visioning and entitlement to final design and construction support.
• Analyze site conditions including drainage, topography, utilities, and structures to create compliant, environmentally responsible designs.
• Develop site plans, design documents, specifications, cost estimates, and visualizations to communicate ideas.
• Participate in site visits, inspections, and ensure construction aligns with design intent.
• Cultivate client relationships, identify opportunities, and contribute to business development in the region.
• Manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain high quality standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in landscape architecture, urban planning, engineering, or related field (master's preferred).
• At least 8 years of progressive experience in land planning and development.
• Strong understanding of landscape design principles, construction methods, and regulatory requirements including zoning and environmental regulations.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (required), Civil 3D (preferred), Adobe Creative Suite, and SketchUp.
• Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects, and business development capabilities.
