What you will do

• Track assigned accounts to identify and recover outstanding debts.
• Conduct heavy phone activity to contact debtors and negotiate payoff deadlines or payment plans.
• Handle customer questions, complaints, and resolve discrepancies.
• Build and maintain good relationships with customers.
• Update account status and databases regularly.
• Alert supervisors on customers unwilling or unable to pay and comply with legal actions if needed.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED
• 2+ years' collections experience
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally to meet collections goals
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and intranet/internet

• Experience with SAP and AS400
