What you will do

• Own polymer AM production operations including scheduling, throughput, yield, utilization, and on-time delivery; establish metrics and continuous improvement.
• Lead integration of polymer AM machines into OPUS platform, defining requirements, interfaces, telemetry, and interlocks.
• Drive automation strategy for AM cells covering material handling, depowdering, cleaning, and safety.
• Partner with OEMs like Stratasys and HP on APIs, controller access, and joint development roadmaps.
• Build FAT/SAT protocols, reliability engineering, and machine upgrades for higher throughput and stability.
• Hire and develop team; collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, quality, and operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Controls, Robotics, Manufacturing or related); Master's a plus.
• 5+ years in polymer AM operations, systems/equipment engineering, or factory integration; familiar with Stratasys SAF, HP MJF, FDM, SLA, SLS.
• 3+ years people leadership building high-performing teams.
• Hands-on knowledge of polymer AM machine subsystems, production materials like PA11/PA12, and equipment integration into MES/SCADA.
• Experience in production operations management, automation deployment, problem-solving (8D, 5 Whys).
• Willing to travel up to 20%; U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (ITAR).

• Scaling polymer AM from low to high-volume; optimizing powder bed fusion/extrusion for production.
• Industry relationships with HP, Stratasys, EOS; sUAS/unmanned systems manufacturing.
