TL;DR

Program Manager, Detection & Enforcement, Counter-Extremism: Own programs and technical initiatives to scale detection, enforcement, and disruption capabilities against critical harms with an accent on cross-functional collaboration with ML, Product, Data, and Operations teams. Location: International position in the Netherlands; encouraged to come to the Amsterdam office 1 day per week.

What you will do

• Program manage cross-functional initiatives with Machine Learning, Product, Data, and Scaled Operations teams, setting milestones and driving delivery of detection and enforcement processes.
• Evaluate workflows for detection opportunities and support development of solutions from proof-of-concept to implementation.
• Partner with data teams to design SQL-based dashboards for prioritizing high-risk activity and measuring impact.
• Author briefs on investigation trends and contribute to product/process recommendations.
• Empower team through training, documentation, and support for technical tools and workflows.
• Support time-sensitive investigations related to violent extremism and real-world harms.

Requirements

• 6+ years in trust & safety, threat intelligence, counter-extremism, or complex investigations with experience managing technical programs and driving improvements.
• Track record supporting detection/enforcement solutions from concept to cross-functional implementation.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management, producing reports and presenting to engineering, product, and partners.
• Experience leveraging AI and AI-powered tools for detection and enforcement.
• Analytical skills with dashboards and SQL for harm detection strategies.
• Investigation experience in critical risks like violent extremism, with real-world harm prevention.
• Comfort with occasional early morning/evening meetings for global and US teams.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Portuguese, German, French, Spanish, Polish, or Russian.
• Familiarity with hirify.global and extremism in gaming communities.
• Experience with network analysis tools for threat actors.
• SQL, Python, or other programming for data analysis.
