What you will do

• Design and build high-performance distributed systems and backend infrastructure including API endpoints
• Build and optimize real-time data pipelines processing billions of events across distributed queues and stream processors
• Improve performance, monitoring, and reliability across the stack
• Own core systems and contribute to key architectural decisions
• Help shape engineering culture focused on velocity and quality

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong backend development skills
• Proven experience designing and operating large-scale distributed systems with understanding of API design, reliability, and performance
• Hands-on expertise with AWS infrastructure and cloud-native services
• Comfortable in fast-paced startup environment with ownership
• Based in Tel Aviv or open to relocating

Nice to have

• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, Kubernetes, and modern monitoring
