TL;DR

Embedded Software Engineer (Embedded): Develop and enhance transmission software and controls for drivetrain systems with an accent on design, integration, testing, and optimization. What you will do

• Design, develop, and enhance transmission systems to optimize products.
• Plan, design, develop, test, and maintain transmission software with application leads and architects.
• Integrate common software libraries and code-generated modules.
• Test and debug embedded software using various tools to improve quality and performance.
• Perform laboratory verification and Model in the Loop (MIL) testing.
• Follow defined processes to identify and address product weaknesses.

Requirements

• Analytical thinking to determine root causes and create solutions.
• Problem-solving skills for organizational and operational issues.
• Knowledge of embedded systems development and applications.
• Requirements analysis using tools and techniques for business functionality.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science preferred.
• 0-3 years of engineering experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with MATLAB/Simulink for software development or C-hand code.
• Knowledge of Git, CANalyzer, CANape, Software Debugger.
• CAN/J1939 communication protocols.
