Configuration Management Engineer

What you will do

• Manage Project Change Requests (PCRs) from origination to closure, including preparation for Pre-Configuration Control Board (CCB) and ITER CCB documentation.
• Review, control, and monitor PA Change Notices, Deviations, Direct Implementations, and PCRs.
• Coordinate input for complete impact analysis and follow-up on change management mechanisms.
• Implement monitoring tools for exhaustive configuration control.
• Contribute to improving PCR management tools and deploying other configuration management tools.
• Support review of PCR and configuration management processes and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience
• Experience with engineering data lifecycle management systems
• Experience in large technological projects (nuclear, space, aeronautics, etc.)
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Good knowledge of Systems Engineering methodologies, particularly Configuration Management
• Eligible to work in the EU
• Good level of English

Nice to have

• Experience in developing engineering procedures and policies
• Experience working in large international consortia or multi-partner engineering environments
• Proactive attitude toward process improvement and standardization
• Knowledge of the ITER Project
• Experience in reporting systems
