What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems, APIs, ETL pipelines, and internal tools in serverless AWS architecture
• Implement and optimize data onboarding, eligibility workflows, and benefits policy administration processes
• Write clean, maintainable code in TypeScript/Node.js and Python, ensuring performance, reliability, and security with monitoring tools
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and stakeholders to deliver high-impact solutions
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, on-call rotations, CI/CD pipelines, and contribute to architecture decisions and mentoring

Requirements

• 5+ years experience with TypeScript/Node.js, Python, React, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, GraphQL, REST APIs
• Strong AWS serverless: Lambda, Glue, S3, API Gateway, EventBridge, SQS, Secrets Manager, CDK, Serverless Framework
• ETL pipelines, CSV/API data ingestion, data transformation, event-driven architectures
• Proficiency in testing: Jest, Pact, Cypress, Gherkin, CI/CD pipelines
• Experience integrating AI/LLM APIs and building AI features like virtual assistants or summarization tools
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
