What you will do

• Join the team responsible for rendering APIs, shader compiler, profiler, and debugging tools used by developers to bring games to PlayStation.
• Work on multiple projects to determine which area suits you best.
• Implement features, fix bugs, profile, and optimize code.
• Help game developers get the most of our hardware and software.
• Participate in early-career development events provided by the company.

Requirements

• A strong interest in how GPUs work and how to use them efficiently.
• Experience in writing, debugging, and optimizing C++ code.
• Experience with writing code that directly accesses low-level graphics APIs such as DirectX 12 or Vulkan.
• Experience with writing shader code.
• A demonstrable interest in computing and computer hardware and ideally gaming consoles.

Nice to have

• Experience with hardware ray-tracing is a plus.
