TL;DR

Working Student in Power Electronics (E-Mobility): Support development projects in power electronics under mentor guidance with an accent on DC-DC converters, on-board chargers, and traction inverters. Focus on circuit and schematic design, power layouts, DC-link, thermal and mechanical aspects, plus prototype testing.

Location: Regensburg, Germany (onsite at hirify.global site). Collaboration with teams in Istanbul and Warsaw.

What you will do

• Work under guidance of an experienced mentor in the power electronics development team.
• Support projects focusing on DC-DC converters, on-board chargers, or traction inverters.
• Gain hands-on experience with circuit/schematic design, power/gate driver layout, DC-link, thermal, and mechanical aspects.
• Assist in testing electronic prototypes across development programs.
• Potentially continue as a thesis project if mutual interest.

Requirements

• Enrolled student in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Control Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or similar.
• Solid fundamentals in power electronics and components.
• Interest in hardware development and e-mobility.
• Good German and English skills.
• Team spirit, social skills, intercultural openness, analytical and conceptual abilities.
