Working Student in the Field of Power Electronics (m/f/d) (Automotive)

Location: Regensburg, Germany; mobile working and flex-time are offered.

What you will do

• Support power electronics development projects under the guidance of an experienced mentor.
• Contribute to work on DC-DC converters, on-board chargers, and traction inverters.
• Assist with circuit and schematic design, power and gate driver layouts, and DC-link design.
• Support thermal and mechanical design activities for power electronic products.
• Test electronic prototypes across ongoing development programs.
• Potentially continue the working student role through a subsequent thesis project.

Requirements

• Enrollment in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Control Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable field.
• Interest in hardware development and e-mobility.
• Solid knowledge of power electronics fundamentals and related components.
• Strong analytical and conceptual abilities.
• Good German and English language skills required.
• Team spirit, social skills, and intercultural openness.
