Salary: $116,000 to $150,000 + equity + benefits

What you will do

• Work with engineers on new projects from scratch and within the existing codebase
• Build back-end wiring, application logic, and UI for products
• Provide accurate estimates, evaluate feasibility, and assess new platforms and technologies
• Collaborate and communicate across multiple development teams to design and release products

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in software engineering
• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science or related discipline
• Excellent programming skills in Java or other object-oriented language
• Modern best practices in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Strong communication, analytical-reasoning, and problem-solving skills
• Passion for improving education through technology

Nice to have

• Knowledge of MongoDB and Amazon Web Services (AWS)
