What you will do

• Design and implement core platform features for IoT device lifecycle management.
• Migrate monolithic architecture to a scalable microservices-based approach to improve system resilience.
• Develop backend services and frontend UI solutions using Java and React.
• Define data models, API contracts (gRPC/REST), and implement automated testing.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers and stakeholders to drive high-impact projects.
• Establish best practices for CI/CD and iterative prototyping through PoCs and rapid development.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience with a primary focus on backend systems.
• Proficiency in Java (11+) and frontend development using TypeScript and React.
• Experience with relational database design and web services (gRPC/RESTful APIs).
• Must be based in the United States; no sponsorship or immigration support is available.
• Ability to operate independently and solve complex technical challenges.
• Experience and familiarity with AI coding tools.

Nice to have

• Experience with PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, MongoDB, and AWS.
• Familiarity with Robot Framework and modern CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of the energy industry and energy management systems.
