Payroll Specialist (German-speaking)

Payroll Specialist (German-speaking): Execution of preparatory monthly payroll processes and travel expense accounting for Austrian locations with an accent on employee lifecycle changes, reporting, and smooth end-to-end payroll support. Location: Érd, Hungary (hybrid with 60% home office possibility). Hungarian candidates with very good German (at least B2+) and English (at least B1).

What you will do

• Execute preparatory monthly payroll processes for Austrian locations.
• Handle travel expense accounting including allowances and reimbursements.
• Manage employee lifecycle changes like entries and transfers.
• Act as first point of contact for employee payslip and expense report questions.
• Prepare reports, evaluations, and support billing processes.
• Cooperate closely with HR, accounting, and controlling teams in Austria.
• Participate in projects for process improvement and digitization in the Shared Service Center.

Requirements

• Very good German (at least B2+), good English (at least B1).
• Relevant experience as payroll accountant (knowledge of Austrian regulations advantageous).
• Completed commercial training and specialist examination in payroll accounting.
• Confident MS Office skills.
• Accuracy, reliability, high sense of responsibility, and teamwork enjoyment.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP HCM and SAP Concur.
