TL;DR

Junior Automotive System Engineer (Embedded/Automotive): Developing innovative demos, proof-of-concepts, and system solutions using automotive chips and software with an accent on ADAS and in-vehicle networks. Focus on integrating software on embedded platforms, building board support packages, and solving complex E/E vehicle architecture challenges.

Location: Eindhoven, Netherlands (Hybrid). Relocation support is provided.

What you will do

  • Define and develop innovative demos, proof-of-concepts, and system solutions using automotive chips.
  • Contribute to software development and integration for ADAS, in-vehicle networks, and connectivity modules.
  • Explore automotive standards, analysis tools, and simulation software to solve future vehicle problems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional NXP teams and external partners on system studies.

Requirements

  • University degree (BSc, MSc, PDEng, or PhD) in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Technologies, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • Experience in software engineering on embedded platforms.
  • Knowledge of hardware evaluation boards, building board support packages (BSP), kernels, and images.
  • English: C1 level required (excellent verbal and written communication).
  • Location: Must be based in or be able to relocate to Eindhoven, Netherlands.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of electronics design for HW-SW intermediate layer problem solving.
  • Familiarity with the semiconductor or automotive industry.
