What you will do

• Lead end-to-end architecture and technical strategy for AI-driven investment intelligence platform.
• Partner with portfolio managers to translate investment philosophy into codified, testable models.
• Build and oversee data pipelines, NLP systems, and model training frameworks for hypothesis testing and optimisation.
• Hire and mentor a high-calibre team of AI researchers and engineers.
• Make key buy vs. build decisions across data, infrastructure, and AI tooling.

Requirements

• 10+ years in data-intensive technology roles, including 5+ years in senior leadership or architecture
• Strong background in Python and ML ecosystem (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, NLP transformers)
• Experience building large-scale data or AI systems in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Deep understanding of financial markets, ideally from quant research, hedge funds, or asset management
• Mindset blending engineering rigour with investment intuition
