Infrastructure Lead (Hands On)

Salary: £100K–£150K base plus 10%–50% bonus

What you will do

• Lead the design and delivery of next-generation trading infrastructure across cloud and on-premises environments.
• Drive migration to AWS and architect hybrid solutions balancing performance, security, and cost.
• Build and mentor a DevOps and infrastructure team.
• Implement automation and monitoring for mission-critical systems.
• Collaborate with engineering, trading, and risk teams to deliver reliable, high-speed platforms.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in infrastructure, DevOps, or cloud engineering within trading, financial services, or other high-performance environments.
• Proven leadership experience with AWS and hybrid architectures.
• Strong technical grounding in networking, automation, and system reliability.
• Hands-on scripting skills with Python and Bash.
• Experience with infrastructure as code and network optimization for latency-sensitive systems.
