What you will do

• Implement custom WordPress theme based on _s with componentized templates translating Figma designs to production HTML/CSS/JS.
• Model content using ACF Pro repeaters, options pages, and field validation for dynamic theme views.
• Build responsive reusable sections like hero, grids, accordions, tabs, sliders, forms with keyboard support and accessibility best practices.
• Optimize performance for Core Web Vitals, image handling, lazy loading, CLS prevention, and integrate Gravity Forms plus GTM/GA4 tracking.
• Collaborate with QA on cross-browser compliance, resolve defects, contribute to design system, and follow Git branching, CI, and code reviews.

Requirements

• 5+ years building custom WordPress themes with PHP and query optimization proficiency.
• Expertise in semantic HTML, modern CSS (Grid, Flexbox, custom properties), vanilla JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Strong ACF Pro experience (repeaters, options pages, data modeling) and Gutenberg block development.
• Deep knowledge of accessibility (WCAG 2.0 AA, ARIA, focus management) and responsive cross-browser development.
• Performance optimization skills (Lighthouse, srcset, lazy loading, layout shift minimization).
• Git/CI workflows, GA4 via GTM, cookie consent, and UI elements like megamenus/sticky headers.
