TL;DR

Senior Data Engineer (Python, Snowflake - Video Games): Work end-to-end with data exploring, cleaning, and assembling large complex datasets from multiple sources including licensed data, partner feeds, social platforms, and scraped sources with an accent on ETL/ELT pipelines, performance, scalability, and data integrity. Focus on designing custom connectors, modeling and transforming data in dbt Cloud, managing Snowflake datasets, and building analytics-ready outputs for self-service insights into usage, acquisition, and content performance.

Location: 100% remote, must be located in Latam (Mexico City mentioned).

What you will do

  • Explore, clean, transform, and assemble large complex datasets to support business needs.
  • Analyze raw data from multiple sources, identify trends/patterns, and maintain scalable data pipelines.
  • Design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines integrating licensed data, partner feeds, social platforms, and external sources.
  • Develop ingestion pipelines using Fivetran, model/transform data in dbt Cloud, manage datasets in Snowflake.
  • Optimize pipelines for performance, scalability, reliability, and integrity; operate in Azure DevOps.
  • Scope custom connectors (e.g., Fivetran SDK with Python); build analytics-ready outputs and models for organization-wide self-service insights.

Requirements

  • 5+ years professional experience in Data Engineering
  • Strong hands-on with Python, Snowflake, Azure DevOps (or similar CI/CD)
  • Experience with social media APIs (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, etc.)
  • Background in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Data Analysis
  • Solid Business Analysis (BA) and Project Management (PM) skills
  • Located in Latam
  • Fluent English
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management
