Lead Data Engineer

What you will do

• Lead and mentor a team of data engineers with technical guidance, code reviews, and best practices
• Own end-to-end data migration strategy from Snowflake on AWS to Azure Databricks and DBT, including planning and execution
• Design scalable, secure data pipelines and cloud infrastructure using Azure and infrastructure-as-code
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align data initiatives with business goals and data transformation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 8+ years in Data Engineering, including 2–3 years in leadership role
• Proven experience leading data teams and large-scale data platforms
• Strong hands-on with Snowflake, Azure Databricks, DBT, Terraform, SQL, ETL/ELT
• Experience with cloud migrations (AWS to Azure), CI/CD, Git
• Expertise in data architecture, scalability, performance; communication and leadership skills
