What you will do

• Design and implement data pipelines in Snowflake
• Develop ingestion pipelines from various sources using Snowpipe and other tools
• Create data transformations with SQL, Python, PaaS, and 3rd party tools like dbt
• Optimize existing pipelines for cost, load time, and maintainability
• Automate data ingestion and transformation with Airflow or similar
• Assist business users in formulating needs and utilizing the data platform

Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of Snowflake and its tools across multiple projects (2+ years hands-on)
• Data transformation experience: data modeling, ETL, extensive SQL including Snowflake flavor (4+ intensive years)
• Experience in cloud data management with AWS or GCP components (batch processing, storage, Data Lakes)
• Team player, proactive, with business understanding and interest in project impact
• Strong technical and business English (oral, reading, writing)

Nice to have

• SnowPro certification, preferably SnowPro Advanced Data Engineer
• Python development focused on data ingestion/transformation
• PySpark/Spark experience
