What you will do

• Develop new products and features using modern backend technologies
• Collaborate with QA on test-driven development to ensure product quality
• Contribute to planning, design, and requirements in scrum teams
• Conduct code reviews, pair programming, and promote best practices
• Drive architectural decisions and propose solutions for complex challenges
• Improve performance, scalability, and maintainability of systems
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• 7+ years software development experience, including 2+ years with Python
• Strong experience with Python frameworks (Flask, FastAPI), OpenAPI, SQLAlchemy
• Relational databases (PostgreSQL, Redshift); designing scalable APIs and systems
• Refactoring, code quality practices; Linux/Unix environments
• Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket); Agile/Scrum teams
• Strong communication, collaboration, and mentoring skills
