What you will do
- Define and own the end-to-end modernization roadmap from .NET Framework to .NET 8 microservices on AWS.
- Establish enterprise-wide architecture principles, standards, design patterns, and lead technology selection.
- Architect scalable, reliable, secure solutions and introduce modern engineering practices including AI-assisted tools.
- Lead Architecture Review Boards and partner with product/executive leadership to align architecture with business goals.
- Provide guidance to 2–4 engineering teams, mentor Tech Leads and Senior Engineers.
- Collaborate with DevOps/SRE on infrastructure, CI/CD, and observability systems; communicate decisions to stakeholders.
Requirements
- 8+ years in .NET software development, including 3+ years as Software Architect or Principal Engineer.
- Mastery of .NET 8+, C#, ASP.NET Core, distributed systems, and performance tuning.
- Proven experience with cloud-native architectures on AWS (ECS/EKS, Lambda, RDS, SQS/SNS, API Gateway, IAM).
- Strong data architecture (SQL Server, caching, event streaming) and front-end integration (Angular).
- Track record of establishing standards, mentoring seniors, leading complex initiatives.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
