Salary: £155,000 - £180,000 GBP (OTE, base + commission)

What you will do

• Drive technical strategy on largest deals, partnering with AEs and sales leadership.
• Lead discovery, solution design, POCs, competitive bake-offs, and build stakeholder conviction.
• Advise engineering leaders on AI-era observability and modern operations.
• Turn complex environments into architectures and narratives for developers and decision-makers.
• Get hands-on with instrumentation, unblock issues, and prove outcomes.
• Build scalable technical content, demos, and thought leadership; collaborate across teams.
• Mentor peers and bring field signals to shape product direction.

Requirements

• 7+ years pre-sales, solution architecture, or customer-facing technical experience in B2B SaaS, ideally enterprise.
• Track record winning complex high-value deals with sophisticated stakeholders.
• Experience selling to developer, SRE, platform, or engineering-led organizations.
• Hands-on fluency in cloud, containers, Kubernetes, distributed systems, observability, distributed tracing, OpenTelemetry.
• Comfort with code across languages; own complex POCs and evaluations.
• Collaborative approach; point of view on observability and AI workflows.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with MEDDPICC or Command of the Message.
