Salary: £155,000 - £180,000 GBP (OTE, base + commission)

What you will do
- Drive technical strategy on largest deals, partnering with AEs and sales leadership.
- Lead discovery, solution design, POCs, competitive bake-offs, and build stakeholder conviction.
- Advise engineering leaders on AI-era observability and modern operations.
- Turn complex environments into architectures and narratives for developers and decision-makers.
- Get hands-on with instrumentation, unblock issues, and prove outcomes.
- Build scalable technical content, demos, and thought leadership; collaborate across teams.
- Mentor peers and bring field signals to shape product direction.
Requirements
- 7+ years pre-sales, solution architecture, or customer-facing technical experience in B2B SaaS, ideally enterprise.
- Track record winning complex high-value deals with sophisticated stakeholders.
- Experience selling to developer, SRE, platform, or engineering-led organizations.
- Hands-on fluency in cloud, containers, Kubernetes, distributed systems, observability, distributed tracing, OpenTelemetry.
- Comfort with code across languages; own complex POCs and evaluations.
- Collaborative approach; point of view on observability and AI workflows.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with MEDDPICC or Command of the Message.
