Security Engineer

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain secure internal security solutions and tools using Python for security operations.
• Manage security configurations in AWS and GCP, including WAF, Security Hub, IAM policies, and SIEM integrations.
• Implement security processes and controls for compliance with PCI DSS, ISO 27001/27701, SOC 2.
• Collaborate with Engineering and DevOps on cross-functional security initiatives.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and architectures like AI for secure adoption.

Requirements

• Verbal and written English fluency.
• 4+ years in security engineering or similar roles.
• Experience developing security tools using Python.
• Solid knowledge of AWS and GCP security services.
• Experience with compliance frameworks like PCI DSS, ISO 27001/27701, SOC 2 in cloud.
• Strong problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with SIEM platforms and security monitoring tools.
• Experience with Kubernetes and container security.
• Infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Serverless, event-driven, AI integrations.
