Equipment Technician

What you will do

• Work from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions to perform testing, checkout, and troubleshooting functions (65%).
• Assist engineers with design, construction, test, checkout, modification, fabrication, and assembly of components (15%).
• Assist in determining methods or actions to remedy malfunctions (15%).
• Comply with procedures to ensure safety, equipment protection, and accuracy of results (5%).
• Use manufacturing, test, development, or diagnostic equipment including oscilloscopes, signal generators, and specialized test apparatus.
• Support engineering activities and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Associate degree, two-year technical/trade degree, or equivalent preferred.
• Five to seven years of experience.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience with CAD.
• High attention to detail.
